EU ESPR · Digital Product Passport

Your products will need a digital passport to enter the EU.

The EU Digital Product Passport is mandatory for all textile brands selling in Europe from 2027. Most businesses aren't ready.

We help you prepare — before it becomes urgent.

DPP Regulatory Timeline
July 2024 — ESPR enters into force
Framework adopted. Textiles identified as priority sector.
2025–2026 — Prepare now
Supply chain mapping & data collection. The time to act is now.
!
Early 2027 — Delegated Acts published
Final requirements published. 18-month compliance window begins.
2028–2029 — Enforcement
No DPP = no EU market access. Customs blocks begin.
Supply chain data takes 12+ months to collect. Brands that start in 2026 will be compliant. Brands that wait for 2027 won't.
DPP affects every textile brand selling in the EUregardless of where you're headquartered. If your products are on EU shelves, you must comply.

Three reasons not to wait.

The regulation is real, the timeline is fixed, and the preparation takes longer than most brands expect.

01

Data collection takes 12+ months

Gathering supplier data across Tier 1, 2 and 3 is slow. Most brands discover gaps they didn't know existed. Starting in 2026 means you're ready — starting in 2027 means you're not.

02

The compliance window is only 18 months

Once the Delegated Acts are published in early 2027, you have 18 months to comply. For brands with complex supply chains or many SKUs, that window will feel very short.

03

No DPP = no EU market access

From 2028, products without a valid Digital Product Passport will be blocked at customs. Retailers will require it before listing. This is a hard market-access requirement.

We handle the complexity for you.
